Words do not even come close to describing how wonderful this place is. It puts all other breakfast places to shame. Their pancakes are straight up heavenly and their Irish Benny is the best I’ve ever had. They have incredible corned beef hash but their bacon is always delicious and cooked to perfection! It’s always SO hard to choose. The staff is so friendly and personable. They are so good about keeping your coffee mug full (they even offer multiple options like dark roast and Carmel vanilla) and they offer to send you home with a cup to go! Talk about above and beyond. This place is the definition of 5 stars.
First time having duck bacon - it’s pricey, but worth trying! Irish Eggs Benedict was prepared very well. I understand the corned beef is slow cooked for 12 hours. Great selection of breakfast and lunch options. Very friendly and attentive service from the cooks to the waitresses. Prices are higher than what I would expect, but the quality matches.
Not many places compare to 2 Home Cooks. No microwaves. Everything is prepared to order. The waffles, pancakes and eggs benedict were among the best we have ever had. Cooked perfectly and delicious. Absolutely well worth the 30 minute wait we had for a table. Looking forward to many return visits.
Great service and food! I had the corned beef hash sandwich with egg over easy and multigrain toast with a hollandaise dipping sauce. I was offered my choice of and style of egg for my sandwich. It was very filling. Coffee, with free refill, was good! Chicken marsala sandwich with mushrooms and greens was good! Parking garage is located across from restaurant while a small parking lot is next door. My GPS got the location wrong while Google maps got the location correct. I was told that weekends are extremely busy, so go early. I noticed that even Friday lunch time had a constant flow of customers. You can find several styles of seating.
Wonderful kind and fast service, delicious food, great atmosphere. My boyfriend and I sat outside, and it was great! Highly recommend.
Been told to come here a lot. Today was our first day eating in. I ordered banana/chocolate chip crepes and would give them a 10/10. My kids loved the hot cocoa w/whip cream. The home fries were undercooked and the price for 2 slices of bacon seemed a little high. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Wait time was quite a bit longer than we were told but luckily it was a sunny day to wait outside. Overall a cute little place but not sure if we'll be back again or not.
What was better, the food or the service? I'm not really sure but both were outstanding. The vibe is very traditional family owned breakfast/lunch joint but they use an iPad to show you the specials. Super neat! Honestly, not a bad thing to say. I'm looking forward to going back.
I’m not arbitrarily giving this place a 5 star rating. The food is made to order. On the spot with homemade local ingredients. Good coffee. Outdoor seating. Bar seating in front of cooks. Now the service is unbelievably good we had a young woman, her name is Adia she had great people skills as attentive service.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
